Transform your business – learn how the cloud works. That is exactly what we tried to do at our event „Cloud as Enabler of Business Transformation“ at HUB385. Since everybody is talking about cloud we thought it is time to share our expertise and knowledge how to help you with digitalisation and moving your business into the cloud.
Neos team with Oracle colleagues held presentations and demos about advantages of migration to cloud and benefits you get if you choose to do so.
Neos CEO, Davorin Capan gave a nice intro about company and Neos cloud solutions. After intro keynote, colleague Dean Mišić walked us throug the subject Lift&Shift migration with presentation title „Lift&Shift – Migrate Your Workload to the Cloud”. We learned about steps you need to do when migrating to the cloud and Dean used real world example of Oracle Forms and Reports migration to Oracle Cloud. Morana Kobal of Oracle Hrvatska talked about what are new generation of cloud infrastructure with Data Management PaaS services. Tomislav Kralj of Neos and Duško Vukmanović of Oracle Hrvatska presented us with live demo sessions. Tomislav showed us technical presentation named Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Infrastructure as a Code. He started with showing us how we need to create Proof of Concept Plan with following Proof of Concept exercise and as last step he showed us Automation. Duško on the other hand held demo about Develop and Deploy Aplications – CI/CD. And for the last speaker we had our CSO, Dražen Marković who talked about Neos Cloud offer and gave a short intro for our next event „Bi Journey to Cloud“.
