Organised by Oracle Hrvatska and Neos event titled Neos Oracle Motion 2020 was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Zagreb hotel on 4 December 2019. Following Hardware and Cloud Motion events, the aim was to present trends in the cloud and system segment for the coming 2020. Emphasis was put on services and solutions for cloud environments, be it public, hybrid or private cloud and Neos presented itself as a competent partner for installation, implementation, migration and support for the entire Oracle HW and engineered systems.

Oracle placed the focus on microservice architecture. That topic was covered in detail by Ivan Delić of Oracle Hrvatska. Microservice architecture is a group of separate services connected by a minimum set of interactions. Services in such architecture are highly granulated and connected by simple communication protocols such as HTTP with REST concept.
Morana Butković presented the news on the latest generation of Exadata platform for data management, recommended Oracle database platforms both for your data centre and cloud.

Neos presented its upcoming cloud-based solutions: CloudVane, a real-time multi-cloud dashboard for cloud cost control, and Procurement Insight. Procurement Insight targets key issues in procurement analytics and is based on supervised machine learning algorithms for data cleansing/matching automatic recognition and alerting of significant ordering variations forming powerful tool for improving procurement monitoring resulting in huge savings.
