Tableau Successfully Presented at the Sixth Controllers' Conference

Controllers from Croatia and the region gathered in Zagreb on June 10 for their sixth annual conference, organized by Business Effectiveness Ltd. This year’s conference was dedicated to three important aspects of every business – planning, analysis and reporting. The main goal of the conference was to give practical recommendations on how to improve the existing levels of the quality of planning, analysis and reporting in companies based on the results of empirical research and presentations of reputable experts from the business practice.

As one of the organizers of the conference explained: to determine and plan business goals, it is necessary to evaluate market needs in an effective manner, considering the capabilities of companies to meet those needs. It is also crucial to be able to follow existing and future trends in order to change from existing to newer innovative business models. As far as planning is concerned, it does not make sense unless it supports the company’s management processes and unless the results of achievements can be analyzed and compared to the planned and estimated figures as well as those from previous periods. Last but not least, reporting is crucial when taking appropriate actions. During the conference, several speakers elaborated on the fact that applying modern standards for an effective and efficient creation and presentation of business reports ensures the transparency of business results, and consequently ensures a better performance of management in a company.
This year, NEOS took park in the Controllers’ Conference, both as a sponsor and as a lecturer. Our Senior BI Consultant Krešimir Futivić presented numerous benefits that stem from using Tableau software, the most widely used data analysis and visualization tool around the world. In addition, NEOS CEO Davorin Capan participated as a speaker in a round table discussion that closed this year’s conference.
