Review of The Information Age 2011

The fifth Information Age conference took place on 3 May 2011 in the Zagreb Hypo Centre. The conference had more than 500 visitors, which is significantly more than in the recent years.

The initial theoretic part tackled Cloud Computing and the remaining presentations were split between two panels at which Oracle users and partners discussed their experience and other interesting topics related to Oracle business and technological solutions.

As one of the gold sponsors, Neos had a stand and was open to all conference visitors for potential questions as well as to those with sweet tooth who found it hard to resist our stand. Also, according to later inquiries and interest, we had a very interesting presentation on the topic Systems for Measuring Profitability in Financial Institutions. With this, Mr. Mario Mrljić once again confirmed our competencies in this propulsive business filed.

We conclude that the conference had more visitors than expected, which posed no problem thanks to good organisation. Numerous interesting presentations were held and there was much good business communication as well as pleasant socialising.
