During two months, NEOS specialists were involved in design and implementation of reporting system named TelBill.Reports for Chech-based company Strom Telekom.
Strom Telekom (www.strom.cz) deals with complete solutions for Telecomm companies. It is multinational company with installations in Russia, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkmenistan, etc. egarding project goals, module TelBill.Reports have had three major parts:
- Establishing a standard framework for development and implementation of reports within FORTIS system for charge support and CRM in Telecomm industry,
- Implementation of procedures for data preparation (collected about services used by customers), and limited set of reports over such data, regarding customer charging,
- Data acquisition, preparation and analysis optimization, of large quantities of data stored in FORTIS system.
Basic platform used in project was Oracle Database 9i.
Whole project was managed according to methodology and standards used in NEOS, and each phase were strictly documented. Project was completed on schedule, with all functionalities defined by project specification completed on time.
This is second successfully completed project for Strom Telekom which involved NEOS specialists. First project was undertaken approx. two years ago, and has included consulting for definition of system architecture for storage of telecommunication services data.
Due to good experience in present cooperation, future negotiations are under way, regarding NEOS involvement on similar projects for Telecomm industry.
