Neos is presenting ample employment opportunities at the largest student job fair in Croatia

Neos is looking for skilled BI/DW consultants and analysts, Java programmers, and Big Data scientists – ten young people eager to build their careers and grow with the company.

This is the second year in a row that Job Fair is taking place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) at the University of Zagreb. It gathered almost twice the number of companies looking for future qualified workforce among students compared to the last year.

The companies interested, among others, included well-known players such as Amazon, ARM, Microsoft, Google, Infineon and even the intriguing Silicon Valley “unicorn” – Palantir.

A total of 93 companies from 14 industry sectors are participating at this year’s Job Fair 2017. They are predominantly high-tech, but there are also several of them coming from financial, energy, automotive, agriculture and even space industry verticals.

More than three thousand students are expected to visit the fair for its duration of two days. They will be able to obtain all the information they need about employment options and opportunities offered by a wide selection of local and international employers.

The news at this year’s Job Fair is the so-called QR-CV that every student wears while at the fair’s premises, and there is the special “Loosen Up Party” where students can have a laid-back conversation with company representatives and recruiters.

Neos presented a host of great opportunities for students at the Job Fair 2017: a chance to participate in creative and exciting work with the latest data warehousing, business intelligence and advanced analytics technologies. And it is not only theoretical – they are used in real-world projects carried out by leading Croatian and European companies coming from, among others, financial and telecommunications sectors.

Neos is currently looking for BI/DW analyst, consultant and assistant, Java developer, a front-end developer and an assistant.

The organizer of the Job Fair 2017 is FER’s Career Center. Over 50 student volunteers, as well as members of the faculty’s student club “KSET” also actively support the event.
