For Ministry of Science, Education and Sport, Neos has developed a modern web based application for monitoring and evaluation of the STP innovation programs. The system’s ultimate task is to render the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of UKF and BICRO programs.
The application consists of the following functionalities:
- interactive display of the KPIs structured on multiple levels
- statistical and plan achievement monitoring (diagram and datasheet summary displays)
- status review, input, and update of particular projects as well as monitoring the supervision throughout application
- review and export of different statistical reports
- application administration – creating users, associating users with roles, log monitoring
System is designed as multi-tier application. Multi-tier design extends from a relational database and application server all the way to the thin client and follows modern technology. Main system components are:
- Oracle database
- Java Spring/Hibernate for middle layer components
- Flex technology for user interface design with advanced charts components
Due to cost-effective approach, open standards were used in the project, at the same time ensuring high quality of the finished product.
It took us 3 months to complete the design and implement the system. The project is finished to the mutual satisfaction.
