In July, 2008 implementation of the Insight Enterprise system at the Pontes bookstore was completed.
The Insight system was fully developed by NEOS owing it to the experience gathered during years of collaboration with companies dealing in distribution, wholesale and retail. That experience, coupled with knowledge of the modern technology used in development, resulted in a product with a number of characteristics making it high-quality and specific on the market.
Insight Enterprise system is tailored for larger bookstores, distributors and publishers with a large number of on-site users, several locations with remote users etc. The system has been implemented in modules and certain modules are grouped in units for support of business processes relating to material and financial accounting (still in progress). The system core consists of centralised master data (products, partners), which represent the basis for business integration of other units.
At the Pontes bookstore the material accounting module was implemented.
