First phase of Data Warehouse project in Privredna Banka Zagreb d.d. has been completed successfully. Major goals of entire project are:
- Establish a system architecture based on concepts of modern analysis and reporting systems,
- Improve efficiency and quality of internal PBZ reporting,
- Integrate data of different production systems now functioning inside Bank,
- Establish high quality data platform for support of:
- Management Information System (MIS),
- Risk Management System (Basel II, solvency etc.) ,
- Marketing and Sales CRM systems,
- Reporting for HNB and Banca Intessa.
Whole idey of DW project is constant system upgrading, in increments defined by user needs.
First phase was accomplished by joined forces of companies Dekod Telekom d.o.o., S&T Hermes Plus d.o.o., NEOS Ltd. and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. It took about 8 months to complete this phase, and all planned goals were accomplished.
Basic platform used in project was Oracle Database 10g. For ETL process, Oracle Data Warehouse Builder 10g was used, which is also used for systematic and prompt documentation tool, for DW loading process.
The first project phase has been completed to the satisfaction of all parties involved, and cooperation on further project development has been immediately continued.
