18th HrOUG conference review

The 18th Conference of the Croatian Oracle Users Group–HrOUG was closed last week. Over 440 conference participants took part in more than 85 lectures, workshops, dynamic panel discussions, demogrounds and news presentations that occurred in the past year.

This year also Neos has participated at the conference with interesting lectures. Our colleague Laren Zuliani demonstrated the advantages of integrating R-open source statistical programming language with the Oracle database in the lecture Data Mining in Oracle R Enterprise.

In his lecture Alen Ćosić explained the functionalities of NEOS BI-DW Framework that allows old OWB and new ODI ETL processes to work together and load data warehouse.

In Business Information Systems- Solutions section, Krešimir Futivić talked about his experience with Neos Profitability Insight reporting system designed for financial institutions whose main objective is a multidimensional analysis of profitability by customer, product, time and other dimensions.

HrOUG again proved to be a conference with excellent lectures and cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait for the next one!
