The largest Oracle user gathering in the region, Croatian Oracle User Group – HrOUG, will be held from October 15 – 19, 2013 on Red Island, Rovinj.
This year’s agenda consists of more than 85 lectures, workshops, demos, roundtables and presentations, divided into seven thematic sections:
- Leaders Circle
- Developing and Development tools
- Databases
- Middleware
- Business Information Systems – technology and business solutions
- Oracle Business Policy
- Java Day
Tom Kyte, an expert from Oracle and the leading authority in the field of databases, will hold a lecture certainly worth attending. Apart from him, 14 other invited speakers will hold lectures including five Oracle AEEs, 1 Java Champion and three OAKs – experts such as Joža Senegačnik, Melanie Caffrey, Deneš Kubiček and Matjaž Branko Jurica.
Our colleagues are traditionally among this respectable number of speakers. In Business Information Systems section, Krešimir Futivić will talk about experiences with Neos Profitability Insight, a reporting system designed for financial institutions. Laren Zuliani will hold a lecture on Data Mining in Oracle R Enterprise while Alen Ćosić will talk about BI-DW Framework – A bridge between OWB and ODI.
