NEOS sponsors Mozgalo contest

In 2015, NEOS will intensify its cooperation with the young members of the Croatian academic community by sponsoring the Mozgalo contest. Mozgalo is an educational student contest in which students compete in data mining, a process of finding useful new knowledge or extracting information from large quantities of structured or unstructured data. In order to do this, students use different methods, such as statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. This year’s theme of the contest is predictive modeling.

Mozgalo is to be held at the University of Zagreb as well as at some faculties from other Croatian Universities within which teams of students develop their own analytical solutions. The contest is organized by members of the non-profit student organization eSTUDENT in whose projects more than 5000 students take part every year.

Neos is the proud platinum sponsor of the contest that was opened on January 8 and close in mid-May 2015. You can find out more about Mozgalo on the web page of eStudent.
