A joint workshop titled “Business application of modern technologies in banking – Big Data and Machine Learning” was held in Belgrade on 26 October. A whole day of lectures dealt with Oracle Real-Time Decisions solution, business analyses and making of business decisions using Oracle Big Data solutions in the banking sector.
In collaboration with the Oracle team, Neos presented the solutions that respond to all challenges of modern banking in a simple manner. CTO Mario Mrljić, CSO Dražen Marković and Delivery Manager Mario Nimac held a lecture on application of Big Data in banking and demonstrated the same on specific “use cases”. In addition to presenting the use of Big Data in banking and all its advantages, the Oracle team also presented the meaning of Machine Learning and illustrated it using references from the banking sector.
The business application workshop provided Neos an opportunity for regional introduction and presentation of the company’s services. In view of the business trends and the digital world, it is evident that banking increasingly depends on use of contemporary business technologies, which was also tackled at the workshop.
