After the opening speech delivered by Oracle Croatia CEO Marin Tadić, Oracle experts Olga Rumelioti, Senior Director, Technology Sales Oracle SCE and Duncan Harvey, Head of Core Technology at Oracle EMEA provided insights about Oracle modern business in cloud and explained cloud acceleration and the inflection point. Later on, Scott Wilson, Engineered Systems Sales Consulting Senior Director, Oracle EMEA talked about the interesting topic: From On-Premises to Cloud… and back: Oracle’s Converged Strategy. Presentation about robotics like ideal entrance in STEM education & change of mentality held by Nenad Bakić CEO from Selectio.

Mario Mrljić, CTO from NEOS, took the stage to share the experience in Big Data projects based on specific examples from various industries. Numerous visitors enjoyed the interesting presentation called “Big Data – Practical approach & Expectations”, and rewarded the lecturer with a big round of applause.

Once again, Oracle Cloud Day proved to be a great meeting point of experts and a place to learn on empowering your business with Oracle cloud solutions. Also it is a perfect example of how knowledge sharing and informal approach get along well. Unconventional part of Oracle day was about transformation which was shown through reverse bicycle steering stunt and robot football played via smartphones.
